Crave is a smoothie/coffee/snack spot located on the ground floor of Leadership Square. I hadn't stopped by for many months after beginning to work downtown, but I always noticed people waiting on drinks. So, finally decided to stop for a protein shake on the recommendation of a colleague. Glad I did. I went with the peanut butter and chocolate protein smoothie, one of the "faves" according to the Crave's website. It's $4.50 for a 16 ounce. It's made with peanut butter, banana, chocolate protein powder, and your choice of milk. I went during lunch, so it was a little crowded. I probably waited 6-8 minutes for my drink, but that was to be expected given the time of my arrival. I went with skim milk for my smoothie, and although I've not had one with whole milk, I wasn't missing any richness or creaminess. It was just like a shake and I didn't feel like it needed more richness. I got a hint of the banana, but it wasn't overpowering. Ultimately, it tasted primarily of the peanut butter and chocolate, one of life's great combinations. I was very pleased with the result. Rich and filling, it sated any need for an afternoon snack. I've heard from others that Crave is good about letting you customize and create your own concoctions. I'll absolutely return to order something unique. It may not be the quickest at peak hours, but quality is worth waiting a few minutes. Highly recommended.

I want to go here every day. First off, a healthy option downtown? Yes, please. As far as smoothies go, they've kinda got it all. If you're wanting to something tart and fruity, I'd suggest The Jazz. If you're wanting something more nutty, go with the Apple & PB. You can also add protein powder, ginseng, vitamins etc, to suit your needs. You really can't go wrong with any of their menu items. I like that they offer more snacky selections other than smoothies, like KIZE and CLIF bars, cheese & crackers, sometimes fruit and dip, wraps, and a few chip options. The staff here is always so friendly and after a few times going, they already had my name memorized. I normally get something different each time, but for other regulars, they have their order memorized as well. Safe to say, this is a crowd favorite for downtowners. Bonus: They serve Elemental coffee!

Stopped in today for the 1st time since they remodeled. The owner, LeighAnn, was at the cash register. She knew I would be disappointed & apologized for the change in their menu. They eliminated all the sandwiches to focus on their now expanded beverage menu. She said they have added a protein shake that has been very popular. I had hoped to get my favorite turkey cranberry sandwich with a side of fruit for lunch. Now I will have to get maple turkey, light cream cheese, whole berry cranberry sauce, raisins & sunflower seeds and try making my own at home. That combo sounds weird but tastes great. They do make great smoothies at Crave. They are in the lobby of Leadership Square.

I love Crave! It's a great place to get a light breakfast or lunch. If I remember correctly, they used to have sandwiches and stuff, but recently I have just seen beverages and snacks on the menu. Either way, I love their smoothies. They're filling and I feel a lot better knowing most of them are purely fruit smoothies and not drowned in ice cream like a lot of smoothie chains' seem to be. I got the cherry limeade smoothie for lunch one day and it was so good. It had great flavor like a Sonic cherry limeade except thicker (better) and most importantly, healthier! All real fruit, no soda or syrups. Great spot downtown!

I'm always so thankful for @CraveOKC. When I worked Downtown (before Nebu, Cafe 7 and coolgreens were available to offer variety and healthier fare), it was my waistline saving lunch go-to option. I was in Leadership Square the other day and it was like visiting an old friend. I've always loved the guys who work here, love that they have a good menu with lots of suggested combos but they can do any combo you like. The protein powder they use is not gritty at all. I really only ever have their smoothies, but they have sandwiches, veggie/baked chips, fruit and veggies and more for those of you who prefer to chew your lunch. I love Crave - I wish there were ten locations. I want one right now!

Honestly, the guy at the counter won me over. This was my first visit to Crave and I was a little skeptical about ordering a smoothy, but my stomach wasn't feeling food and my mouth didn't feel like chewing. Sad, but true. The guy at the cash register asked me how my day was going first before asking me what I would like. That was strange, but really nice of him! I ordered the Hot Coca Smoothy with vanilla soy. I was happily singing in my head because I'm slightly lactose intolerant. He starts making my drink and all of a sudden says, "Oh shoot, I totally forgot that the new recipe has bananas in it. Do you want me to make you a new one, I don't mind, it's my fault that I forgot." I declined because I really don't like bananas in smoothies. As a suggestion, he asked if I maybe wanted strawberries added to my drink. It sounded good, but I wasn't in a fruit mood. He nodded and continued. I took a taste test of my drink and was happy. He wished me a good day. I will be back because of the service and yummy bev!

I've had the chocolate peanut butter protein shake twice now. Both times I've enjoyed it and have to pace myself. I like supplementing lunch with a healthy shake (at least I hope it is, can't find the nutritional info but the ingredients are healthy) and avoiding fries or chips that accompany most meals. Definitely worth stopping in for.

I love Crave! I come here for lunch all the time. It will fill you up without making you feel like you need a nap as soon as you get back to the office. The people are really nice, and it is surprisingly inexpensive and quick. Even though they have a lot of different sandwiches on the menu, I find myself pulled to the grilled cheese time and time again. They use a panini press and you can choose what kind of bread and cheese you would like. Plus it is under $3! They also have an excellent smoothie happy hour between 2 & 3 where you get half off of the designated smoothie for the day. On Fridays it's half off any smoothie! They are also members of Keep It Local, so they're pretty awesome. Tip: It is a small place, so after you order it's the norm to wait outside the glass doors for them to call your name.

I'm totally a regular here, and I recommend it. For a downtown lunch, their sandwich/side combo with a half sandwich is under $5! Great deal. The avocado tuna melt (whole sandwich only) is a spicy treat, and is like a panini. My usual order is a half turkey club on wheat with veggies and dip, which is plenty for a light lunch. They have plenty of healthful options in a downtown that', let's face it, doesn't have lots of healthful choices. The smoothies are good and made quickly right in front of you. The bohemian staff is super nice, all the time, every time. My only quibble is that some of the sides are really average. The pasta salad is pretty meh, as is the potato salad. They used to have this EPIC baked potato salad, but it's been gone for a year or so now.
